ESD (Electronic Opening 1 Hour Safes)
All electronic opening safes are powered by 4, AA batteries and an over-ride emergency key is provided for emergency for use should the electronic key pad fail or the safe has been involved in a fire. This overriding lock is located behind the battery pack. The electronic version is user friendly as the entry code can be changed by the user at any time by means of Four easy steps, using a 4 to 8 digit entry code. Changing the entry code is simply achieved by pressing a reset button on the back of the door with the safe in the open position.
SD (Key and Combination 1 Hour Safes)
Cheeper than the electronic version, the manual opening safe will ensure timeless operation. With a 4 Wheel combination and key locking, offering medium security. One word of warning, combination locks can often be tricky to operate, however once known always known.
