The filing safe range feature either an Electronic keypad or 3 wheel changeable combination lock to top drawer only, the key lock is added for additional security with all other drawers have individual drawer locks with individual key numbers, which ideally suits up to four separate uses of the safe.

There is also a drawer lock controller fitted to the top draw, this means that if the combination lock is open but the top drawer is not unlocked the rest of the drawers cannot be opened.
The drawers are able to accommodate a standard suspension file, and each drawer has 2 dividers as standard. Each drawer is fitted with load bearing-runners and tracks, for long life and ease of use. For added protection each drawer is equipped with its own firewall.

These units are tested to UL Standards which gives the filing safe 1 hour fire rating at 1000 deg.C. The filing safes are probably the best deal you could get as you not buying one safe you are buying up to 4 safes as the locking system is fitted so you can control each drawer individually and each drawer has an individual key number.

However these filing safes are not able to be bolted to the floor as they are manufactured and supplied with wheels that run parallel with the side or depth of the unit and cannot be removed. Fire resisting filing cabinets are not designed to be burglar proof, but do offer a higher degree of protection against attack.
